Year 4

I'm Mrs Smith and I teach Year Four Maple Class. I am also the Sendco and the Phase Leader for Years Three/Four. I've taught at this school for many years across the age ranges and have always felt it a privilege to work in our school community. As a teacher, I try to promote the development of confidence and resilience in children, so they become increasingly independent learners who love learning and have high expectations of themselves. The fostering of a sense of fun and growth mindset has proved to be an essential part of this.

Hello, I am Miss Howe. I am really thrilled to be teaching in Year 4 this year and to be taking you along on our exciting journey. I am passionate about science, history and creating an engaging creative curriculum. My aim is to develop curious, confident lifelong learners with a passion for learning new things.

Hello, I am Mrs Curtis (previously Miss Chilvers). I have taught across many of the year groups across the school in my time at Trimley St Mary. I am really pleased to be in Year 4 this year. I am passionate about child led learning and hope to enable the children to become confident, independent, positive children and learners. I lead Computing across the school and enjoy seeing how technology can be used to facilitate learning in the classroom. I am really looking forward to the adventures we will have together this year!
