At Trimley St Mary Primary School we believe that working together with our families is vital for a child's ability to learn, develop and achieve.
We encourage our families to maintain open dialogue with your child's class teachers and utilise the variety of options for communication. As we are sure you will understand, teachers have limited time in the morning and afterschool and may be unable to fully discuss your issues / concerns at this time. We would encourage you to keep these times for exceptional/urgent matters only and use the alternative methods of communication where possible.
Each class has an email address which can be used for communication with your child's class teacher(s). Please bear in mind that the teachers are in class all day and may not respond immediately.
The school office is open from 8.30am to 4.00pm and staff will be able to assist you with queries or direct your concerns to the relevant member of staff. You are welcome to visit the school office in person during these times, or alternatively telephone on 01394 284130 or email office@trimley.net
Our school has a wide network of families and carers to whom we need to keep up to date with relevant information regarding our school. We have a variety of methods to share this information with you, with our prime source being Parentmail.
Other communication methods include:-
MarvellousMe – mainly used by our younger classes, this is a direct contact from teacher to parent, usually used to advise of great work or remind about forthcoming events.
Tapestry - An online learning journey – an excellent way to keep in touch with parents and carers of our Early Years Foundation Stage and show you what and how we are learning.
In order to ensure that you are kept up to date with relevant information, please ensure that you update the school office with your contact information - Telephone numbers and Email address. All our systems work with this information and rely on it being up to date.
